Topic: Midtown Express Project Update

 

The Midtown Express (SH 183 Managed Lanes Project) is an interim project that will increase the capacity and reconstruct portions of State Highway (SH) 183, SH 114 and Loop 12.

Chris is currently the group leader for transportation planning & traffic engineering with Jacobs Engineering. He has been co-located in the TxDOT Project Office for Midtown Express as TxDOT’s GEC since 2015. Chris has 27 years of experience with 17 of those years at Jacobs Engineering. Chris has earned a BSCE from Texas A&M and a MECE from UTA. Chris has been fortunate to work on many large-scale metroplex corridor projects, including; Midtown Express, IH 35W & IH 820 planning prior to North Tarrant Express, Chisholm Trail Parkway, PGBT Eastern Extension, and Project Pegasus (IH 35E / IH 30) in downtown Dallas. Chris has also performed Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) for; the 150-mile Integrated Pipeline Project for TRWD and the DART Rail Station and Terminal A Parking Garage at DFW Airport.
