2017 Engineers Week Awards Luncheon

WHAT: Texas Society of Professional Engineers - Dallas and Preston Trail Chapters, traditionally in partnership with AIChE (The American Institute of Chemical Engineers), ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers), ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers), SAME (Society of American Military Engineers), and SPE (Society of Petroleum Engineers) host this annual Awards Luncheon honoring their Engineers of the Year. Engineers Week is a national week promoting the engineering disciplines to students, helping expand public recognition of the engineering profession, and celebrating engineering accomplishments.  

Come be a part of the largest gathering of professional engineers in North Texas.  Over 600 guests will celebrate exceptional engineers in the Metroplex area with Engineer of the Year and Young Engineer of the Year Awards.  All the proceeds from this event will fund Texas Engineering Foundation scholarships benefiting Dallas Area graduating high school students pursuing an engineering degree in college.  Since 2008, we’ve given over $200,000 in scholarships and this year we’d love to raise another $70,000 with your help. WHO: Our Honorary Co-Chairs this year are Khlaed Naja, P.E., Executive Vice President-Infrastructure, DFW International Airport. The Event Chairs are Alan Greer, P.E. of Freese and Nichols and Marl Pacheco, P.E., of Pacheco Koch.  Our keynote speaker is Dr. Bud Weinstein from SMU.
