• January 28th 2017 – Future City Competition

Future City Competition

Hello YM Dallas members. We hope you had a great holiday with family and friends. For this 2017, we have new and exciting events planned for all of you.

On Saturday, January 28^th, at UT-Arlington, the Future City Competition will be taking place to bring together teams of 6^th, 7^th, and 8^th graders to present their solutions to design challenges faced by the cities of today.  In order for the competition to run smoothly, volunteers are needed to help out with judging the projects and presentations on the day of the event.  We would like to bring together a group of ASCE Younger Members to help out with this.  The creative ideas that the kids come up with are truly incredible and we think you will enjoy getting to interact with the kids as well as meeting and working with other industry professionals to judge the presentations.
