MORNING SESSION @ 11:00 AM Topic: Raising & Undersealing Concrete Streets & Bridges Using Polyurethane Foam Speaker: Isaiah Lincoln, Casey DeRosa, and Brian Simpson - NORTEX Concrete Lift & Stabilization, Inc. Isaiah Lincoln with Nortex Concrete Lift & Stabilization is one of the three salesmen that work for Nortex. He started working with Nortex in September of 2004 and has over 12 years of lifting experience with polyurethane foam. He is in charge of running eight crews on a daily basis and has managed numerous projects with companies such as Frito Lay, UPS, DFW Love Field, DFW Airport, Pepsi Co., and many more. He has also worked with approximately 30 cities in the DFW area helping them fix and maintain their roadways. Casey DeRosa has nine years of polyurethane foam lifting experience and six years of concrete lifting experience with polyurethane foam. He is also responsible for managing the company’s Department of Transportation projects, tollway authority projects, and all out of town projects. Brian Simpson has over five years of polyurethane foam lifting experience. He has worked for Nortex utilizing polyurethane foam systems on various infrastructure projects throughout the U.S. He has also worked as a project manager on multiple DOT projects in various states, as well as setting up contracts and project management with local municipalities. He also worked with approximately 20 cities in the DFW area. AFTERNOON TECHNICAL SESSION @ 1:10 PM Topic: S.M. Wright – A US 175, IH 45, SH310 Project Speaker: Jason Mashell, P.E. Dallas County Area Engineer, Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Dallas District Office Jason Mashell is the Dallas County Area Engineer at the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) in Mesquite. The Dallas District is responsible for seven counties – Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Kaufman, Navarro and Rockwall. As Area Engineer, Mr. Mashell will oversee an office with 34 projects currently under construction valued at nearly $442 million. Mr. Mashell began his TxDOT career as an Engineering Assistant in the Southeast Area Office, where he worked in construction and later in design. He became a licensed Professional Engineer in 2006 and continued working in design as a Transportation Engineer. He served as the Southeast Area Office Maintenance Engineer from 2007 until 2008 before becoming Construction Engineer in that office. In 2013, Mr. Mashell was promoted to Transportation Engineer Supervisor for the Dallas County Area Office construction section. He has been involved in several high-level projects, including the US 80/Town East Boulevard Interchange, the Sylvan Avenue Bridge project, the State Highway 121 Reconstruction project and Phase I of the S.M. Wright project. A graduate of Louisiana Tech University, Mr. Mashell holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree. He enjoys traveling, playing the drums, watching college basketball and football games and spending time with his family. Mr. Mashell lives in Mesquite with his wife and two daughters.
