As the Executive Program Manager for the Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD)/Dallas Water Utilities, City of Dallas Integrated Pipeline Project (IPL), Kathy Berek, PE, draws on her 25 years of water industry expertise to manage a complex team of 20 professional service firms and 45 M/WBE subconsultants. The IPL, one of the largest infrastructure projects in North Texas, is a 150 mile water delivery transmission system that will integrate TRWD's existing pipelines and Dallas systems to deliver a combined 350 MGD of raw water to the area. 

Prior to this role, Kathy served as a consultant to TRWD for the Oklahoma Water Supply Project and the Joint Transmission Study (Lake Palestine) that led to the IPL. She also served as water operations manager in North Texas for a major national consulting firm where she managed projects including construction of TRWD’s High Capacity Booster Pump Stations at Ennis and Waxahachie, Regional Gravity Sewer Transmission Line and Lift Station in Rockwall for North Texas Municipal Water District, and improvements at Brazos River Authority's Morris Sheppard Dam at Possum Kingdom Reservoir.

Kathy earned her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware, and her Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington. Kathy has a daughter Anna (30), and twin son and daughter, Jon and Abby (25).
