The Cement Council of Texas is pleased to announce the 2013 Roller-Compacted Concrete Pavement Design and Construction Symposium being held on November 20th and 21st near the DFW Airport in Irving, Texas. This biennial event is the only one if this magnitude in North America. Join us for two days of intense training and information exchange.

For decades, public and private agencies across North America have saved millions of dollars in construction and drastically reduced maintenance costs by installing roller-compacted concrete (RCC) pavements for heavy duty applications. Uses for RCC have expanded in recent years to municipal pavements, parking lots, highway shoulders, and highway safety rest stops.

Join us as experts discuss the many facets of RCC from project inception to completion.  Day two features separate tracks entitled “Fundamentals” and “Advanced Technologies”. The Fundamentals track will address the needs of new and intermediate users including proper design, layout and detailing, testing methods, production and construction, and the economics of RCC paving. Many diverse pavement projects will be highlighted, representing a full spectrum of applications.  The Advanced Users track offers a forum for experienced users to hear of advancements, current research findings, innovative techniques, equipment and procedures and discussion of future research.

Registration information is available at 2013 RCC Design & Construction Symposium Online. Also, watch for symposium updates at the Cement Council of Texas website leading up to the event.
