Brown & Gay Engineers, Inc. (BGE) is a privately owned, Texas-based civil engineering consulting firm founded in 1975. The firm has approximately 400 employees in Texas with offices in Dallas, Frisco, Fort Worth, Houston, Katy, The Woodlands, Austin and San Antonio.  BGE’s North Texas offices have a combined staff of 80, including 36 professional engineers that work together to serve the DFW Metroplex.

BGE is a full-service firm that provides a broad range of planning, design, program management, and construction management services in the following specialized areas: surveying and ROW mapping, environmental investigations and permitting, transportation planning and design, water/wastewater master plans, drainage studies and modeling, stormwater quality plans, street and drainage design, traffic planning and design, water and wastewater design, CPM scheduling and claims analysis, utility coordination, construction engineering and inspection, land and site development, and overall program management. BGE has a solid understanding of federal, state, and local policies and procedures, and has recently developed several projects incorporating pedestrian, bicycle and ITE context-sensitive design.

BGE is currently providing consulting engineering services for several high-profile projects throughout the DFW Metroplex. These include serving as TxDOT’s Project Oversight Engineer for the North Tarrant Express CDA Project; TxDOT’s DFW General Engineering Consultant; the City of Ft. Worth’s Stormwater Program Manager; NTTA’s Chisholm Trail Parkway Segment 4 Construction Manager; TxDOT’s IH 35W 3B Construction Manager; TRWD/City of Dallas Section 19 01 Design Engineer for the Integrated Pipeline Project (IPL), and TxDOT’s Planning and Design Engineer for the Grayson County Tollway Study.
