Earth Day Texas 2014

Earth Day Texas is nonprofit organization that focuses on environmental education.  The annual Earth Day Texas event on April 26th and 27th provides a forum for corporate, academic, governmental, and nonprofit leaders to engage with attendees on important environmental topics.  The theme of this year’s Earth Day is WATER.  ASCE Dallas will be hosting a table at Earth Day 2014, and we are especially looking for water resources and environmental engineers and their firms to come volunteer at our booth.  Time slots are available on both Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 6pm. 

Admission is free to Earth Day 2014 so feel free to invite your friends and family to join you before, during, or after your volunteer hours to check out the rest of the Eco Expo, entertainment, workshops, music, and food that will be scattered throughout Fair Park.  More information about Earth Day 2014 in general can be found here: http://earthdaytx.org/
