The Dallas Younger Members Committee is looking for Younger Member Volunteers to  help reach out to Engineering Students by volunteering for the Texas Centennial Conference events on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning, September 13th and 14th.

Student Paper Competition (Friday, 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.)

Students will have the opportunity to give a brief presentation on any of the technical sessions that they attended. The presentations will be evaluated, and a winning presentation will be chosen for a prize. Given the time constraints on this session, the number of students allowed to present will be limited and will be chosen on a “first come, first serve” basis, so get there early! Several students have submitted papers for presentation at the conference during the Friday technical sessions. The winner of the paper competition will be announced.

* Volunteers would be assisting with judging the papers with respect to writing skills and presentation.  We are looking to maintain 3 judges on Friday from 1-5pm.  You can help out by signing up for as little as one hour.
