Speaker: Mr. Paul Komoroske, P.E., Fort Worth District, USACE

Topic: “The Corps Approval Process to Modify Existing Levees”

Mr. Paul Komoroske, P.E. has been the Levee Safety Program Manager for the Fort Worth District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers since May 2010. He has over 30 years experience working with levee issues with USACE.

Mr. Komoroske graduated from State University of New York at Buffalo with degree in Civil Engineering in 1978. He worked in the New Orleans District Corps office from 1978-1985, South Pacific Division Corps office in San Francisco from 1985-1988, and then at the Seattle District Corps of Engineers from 1988-2010. Mr. Komoroske also has had assignments working on levee policy at Corps headquarters in Washington, DC.
