August Meeting Speaker

Mr. Robert P. Morris, Jr. is the Deputy District Engineer for the Fort Worth Engineer District. Prior to this position, Bob served as the BRAC and Medical Program Manager in the Program and Project Management Division.  His presentation topic is “Innovative Design and Solutions for Medical Building Construction and Overview of Upcoming Projects”  

He served in many capacities during his 25 years of active duty with the U.S. Army.  During his Army career, Bob served as Deputy Commander of the Fort Worth Engineer District, Deputy for Operations and Security for Task Force Restore Iraqi Oil, Deputy Facility Engineer for the Defense Intelligence Agency, Facility Engineer with the Multi-National Forces and Observers in Sinai, Egypt, and Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography and Environmental Engineering at West Point, New York.

Bob is on the board of directors of the National Association of Environmental Professionals, and is a past president of the Fort Worth SAME Post.  He serves with the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and is active in the Boy Scouts of America.  Bob is a registered Professional Engineer in Florida and Virginia.  He resides in Mansfield, Texas, with his wife and three children.
