Transportation & Development Institute (T&DI) Seminar

Following the September Luncheon Meeting of the ASCE Dallas Branch, the Dallas T&DI will hold a Seminar on “Surveying and SUE Needs for Transportation Projects.”  This Seminar will highlight the current issues, practices and typical scope items for initiating field surveying and subsurface utility engineering (SUE) needs of a typical roadway or highway project.  The items that need to be discussed among the owner, engineer and the surveyor during the project scoping will be discussed to ensure majority of such scope items are covered in the contract to avoid future delays and change orders during the design process.

The Seminar will be presented by Gorrondona & Associates, Inc.  G&AI has been in business since 1990 and has provided surveying and SUE services on large and small transportation projects across the region and has utilized aerial mapping, LIDAR, laser scanning and many of the latest surveying technologies to enable transportation agencies and engineers to achieve their project objectives.
