ASCE was invited to discuss civil engineering with the Future Scientist and Engineers (FUSE) at Heritage High School in Frisco.  A group of ASCE volunteers presented to a group of at least 30 high school students at the Frisco Heritage High School on Wed., Sep. 21.

ASCE volunteers explained what civil engineers do, the exciting projects civil engineers work on, and the challenges they solve.  Education requirements were discussed, and volunteers showed the high school students some local civil engineering projects.  The volunteers did a wonderful job interacting with the students, inspiring and motivating the next generation of engineers.
