November Main Speaker: Lieutenant Colonel Jim Cline

The November ASCE Meeting will be held jointly withSociety of American Military Engineers (SAME)on Monday, November 14, 2011. The guest speaker will be Lieutenant Colonel Jim Cline, P.E. Jim will discuss his experiences while serving in Afghanistan. LTC Cline, who returned from deployment in July, will talk and show slides about the daily life and activities of the troops under his command. Jim is the President of the Denton County Transportation Authority and a design engineer in the 176th Brigade of the Texas Army National Guard.

During his 27-year military career, he has earned the Bronze Star, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal and the Army Achievement Medal.
