Christmas is for Caring Update

The members of the Dallas Branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers donated$1,123.00 toward the 33st Annual KRLD “Christmas Is For Caring Campaign”. To date our members have given $9,991 to the Denton State Supported Living Center (formally known as the Denton State School) since we started in 2003.

On Tuesday, December 12, I notified the Living Center that the members of the “The Dallas Branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers” were mailing in their donation. They thanked our organization for participating again this year. The money was pledged toward the purchase of cameras, reading lamps, watches, bedspreads, body wash, manicure sets, night gowns, puzzles, aftershave, DVD players, make-up kits, radios, arts & crafts, coin purses, buy board games, electric razors, coloring books, electric toothbrushes, hair dryers, mirrors, blankets, and waist packs.

I would like to thank all of you that gave to this great cause.
