DALLAS DISTRICT UPDATE

TxDOT Dallas District

Mr. Campbell began his career with the Texas Department of Transportation as a summer hire. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and began his full-time employment with TxDOT in 2010 as an Engineer in Training in Roadway Design in the Dallas District. He later worked in the Collin County Area Office as a Project Engineer in construction. In 2015, he accepted the position of H&H Design Section Supervisor, and in 2017, he became the Project Delivery Office Supervisor for the Dallas District, where he oversaw schematic and PS&E development. Mr. Campbell was named the Denton County Area Engineer in 2021 before accepting his current position as District Director of Transportation Planning and Development for the Dallas District in early 2023.
