Main Speaker: J. C. Wood Jr., P.E., PWLF 

 Topic: A More Sustainable Approach to Project Implementation
 
 J.C. is a 1975 Civil Engineering graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington, and has 37 years of Professional Experience in various Public Works and Engineering positions.  J.C. retired as the Director of Maintenance for the North Texas Tollway Authority in October of 2011 and is currently a Sr. Project Manager with Lamb-Star Engineering serving as the Facilities/Asset Manager on the DFW Airport Terminal Renovation Program.  J.C. is a life-time member of APWA, was the president of the Texas Chapter in 2009 and served on the IBTTA Maintenance Steering Committee until his retirement.  J.C. is a 2000 Texas Chapter Top Three, 2003 APWA Top Ten, 2005 APWA Professional Manager of the Year in Transportation award winner and was selected as an APWA Public Works Leadership Fellow in 2011. His wife of 39 years (Cathy) is also a Civil Engineer, and they have two sons (Ryan and Jeff). His hobbies include; boating, camping, snow skiing, and anything automotive.
