June 2025 President's Message

Dear ASCE Dallas Branch Members and Friends, 

Thank you to everyone who supported the ASCE Dallas/Fort Worth Joint Golf Tournament at Cowboys Golf Club! We welcomed over 120 golfers and received generous support from 22 sponsoring firms. Thanks to your participation, we raised approximately $8K—all of which will go directly to our GB Mann Scholarship fund.

Don’t miss our upcoming ASCE Dallas branch joint meeting with CMAA North Texas, on June 9, 2025. The program will feature a keynote presentation on the “Inland Port” by: Alberta Blair, Dallas County Director of Public Works; Lissa Shepard, Dallas County Senior Bridge Engineer/Floodplain Manager; Laura Freeland, Executive Director of the Inland Port Transportation Management Association.  We'll also kick off the day with a technical session titled “Design-Build Ins and Outs of Domestic Trade Terminals,” led by Logan Ortiz, CEO of the GSO 23.

Mark your calendars for the 2025 Joint Meeting of the Dallas and Fort Worth ASCE Branches on Friday, July 18th.  The event will feature multiple technical sessions, a keynote lunch presentation, an ethics session, and abundant networking opportunities
