 Topic: Collin County: Past, Present and Future

Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University

Worked for local governments in Texas for over 50 years either as employee or consultant

• 37 years (so far) with local governments, including Dallas, San Antonio, Plano and Collin County
• 17 years as consultant; last two assignments:
  • 2014 Collin County Mobility Plan Update and
  • Managing design services during construction of Klyde Warren Park

Currently responsible at Collin County for 

• Transportation
• Regulation of developments
• County parks
• Animal control

Former Texas Chapter President of the American Public Works Association:

Founding member and former President of Texas Association of County Engineers and Road Administrator

Deacon and teacher at church

Widower after 52 years of marriage; two sons; two grandchildren
