Nathan Petter- Dallas County Area Engineer-TxDOT

 Topic: US 75/Northaven Trail Bridge Project

Nathan Petter was appointed as the Dallas County Area Engineer in February 2023.

 Nathan began his career with TxDOT as a Summer Intern in the Waco District in 2007, and upon graduation from Texas A&M with a Civil Engineer degree in 2011 began his time at the Dallas District in the EA Career Development Program.  He became a Licensed Professional Engineer in 2015. 

 Nathan has worked in the Alternative Delivery and became the Design Supervisor for the Dallas County Area Office in 2019 followed that next year as the Assistant Area Engineer in Dallas County.

 As the Dallas County Area Engineer, he oversees maintenance operations for the state highway and interstate system for the second largest county in the state of Texas, along with current construction projects totaling more than $3 billion.

 Nathan lives in Dallas with his wife, Evan, and their two daughters.
