Bryan Brazelton – Contech Engineered Solutions

Topic: Underground Trenchless Technology- Tunnel Linear Plate

Bryan “Buzz” Brazelton is the Specialty Products Professional for Contech Engineered Solutions and is responsible for the State of Texas.  Buzz Joined Contech in 2009.  He is a graduate from The University of Oklahoma with a Liberal Studies degree.  As a Specialty Sales Professional, Buzz is responsible for driving technical marketing, promotion and sales for Tunnel Liner Plate, Metric Sheeting, Collector Pan, and Bridge Plank as well as providing technical knowledge and consultative solution development to engineers, municipalities, water divisions, and contractors.  Outside of Contech, Buzz has a wife Sara, and two sons, Grady 13 and Caleb 11.

Michael Cooper- AZB

Topic: Schedule, Milestones, and Lessons Learned- DART Silver Line

Working for both the Owner and the General Contractor, Mr. Cooper has dedicated himself to continual advancement and project achievement within the construction industry specializing in Planning, Engineering, Construction and Program Management on projects throughout the USA and overseas. He has held positions at various levels of ascending authority including: General Foreman, Field Engineer, Superintendent, Sr. Construction Manager, Sr. Project Manager, Program Manager, Pursuit Manager, Deputy Division Manager, Sr. Design-Build Manager and Sr Construction Manager. Mr. Cooper’s knowledge and experience provides a quality combination of hands-on proficiency in the public and private sectors managing transportation, transit rail, civil, building, and industrial and communications projects. His ability to motivate, communicate and build a project team, has delivered successful planning, startup and completion of recognized projects that include Design Bid Build, CM/GC, CMAR, IDC, and Design-Build.

 

He is an effective leader and proactively integrates all aspects of the project including  safety, quality, risk mitigation, change management, logistics, production, financial management, and scheduling.

 

His demonstrated experience and knowledge for road improvements, bridge construction,  steel fabricated truss renovations, Commuter and Light rail work, utilities,   pavement, hazardous materials abatement, MOT, environmental protections and overall experience managing of safety and quality programs, change management, production assessments, and of time sensitive complex projects has made him a respected member of  the industry. Mr. Cooper’s knowledge of business standards, construction means and methods are complemented by his exceptional leadership skills. He has proficiency and ability to; lead multidiscipline project teams, differentiate between leadership and management and use both for project success, set project priorities to proactively meet schedule, achieve client satisfaction and delegate project tasks appropriate to maximize use of a team approach while preserving personal time for daily higher level responsibilities.
