We are excited to provide you with Section news for your Branch’s monthly newsletter.   1.  ASCE Texas Section 2023-24 Officer Nominations
Do you know someone who is ready to volunteer to ensure Texas civil engineers are leaders in their communities? We have good news…ASCE Texas Section is seeking outstanding civil engineers to join their Board of Direction. Nominations for 2023-2024 Texas Section Officers are now open and will be coordinated through each Branch. The deadline for nominations is October 31, 2022.

The Section is currently accepting nominations for the following positions:
1.     President Elect
2.     Vice President for Educational Affairs Elect
3.     Vice President for Professional Affairs Elect
4.     Vice President for Technical Affairs Elect
5.     First Year Director at Large (two positions, age 35 or under)

How to Submit a Nomination:
1.     If you are interested in one of the positions listed above or know someone who would be a good fit, please contact your Branch President or Section Director for assistance in submitting a nomination.
2.     Complete the attached nomination form and obtain a statement of consent from the nominee.
3.     Make sure to include a short bio (300 words max) and a current headshot of the nominated candidate (high-res jpg or png file) as well.
