EWRI Newsletter Update

The Dallas Branch’s EWRI, Environmental and Water Resources Institute, is making a triumphant return! The Institute’s Dallas chapter is led by President Ramesh Chintala of WEST Consultants. Supporting officers include Vice President Novella Landau from the City of Carrollton, Outreach Chair Tyler Huynh of TRC and Secretary Jaideep Rao of TRC.

EWRI is partnering with Greenspace Dallas for a volunteer event on Saturday, September 24^th at 9am at the Frasier Dam Recreation Area. Greenspace Dallas Greenspace Dallas works closely with volunteers, students, the City of Dallas and corporations, to develop the Trinity River Corridor into national park quality recreation areas. So far in 2022, with the help of volunteers and corporations, over 32,000 pounds of trash from the Trinity River and forest have been removed. Join us on the 24^th to contribute to the community effort of keeping our public areas clean! See attached flyer with further information.
