President's Message - JUNE 2022

Hello ASCE Dallas Branch Members!

I would like to thank Samantha Vail and the Younger Members committee for leading and running our meeting last month. They all did a wonderful job and I look forward to watching their leadership in ASCE grow.

This month is 'Pride' month to recognize another group within our diverse membership. This month our MOSAIC committee spotlighted the work of Pierre "Peter" Charles L'Enfant. He is best known for his work as the planner for the city of Washington, D.C.

We are just a month away from the joint meeting which will be at the Arlington Sheraton Hotel. (South of IH 30 near the old Ballpark. This year will be an in-person meeting again. We are adding some new opportunities for networking including group tickets to the Rangers game that evening. (Separate registration.) There are Technical Session sponsorships available as well as a new opportunity for exhibitor spaces in the pre-function area outside the ballroom. This new venue gives us a greater opportunity to network with other members.
