1. Texas Civil Engineer: Technical Articles Did you know ASCE Texas Section’s Editorial Committee regularly procures and publishes technical articles? A recent one we thought you shouldn’t miss is the February 2022 article, “Preparing a Path Forward: Texas' First State Flood Plan is being developed from the bottom up, written by Cindy Engelhardt PE, CFM, M.ASCE and Stephanie Griffin PE, CFM, F.ASCE. CECON 2022 Call for Speakers At this year’s CECON, we are looking for speakers and topics to showcase what it means to be a Civil Engineer within our engineering community. We are more than just our individual fields of expertise. As a unified community, we are strongest. The trip will be planned and hosted by the ASCE Texas Section Younger Members Committee. Members will meet at McKinney Falls to camp, hike, network, share stories, and learn about what other young professionals are doing across the state of Texas.
