1. Texas Civil Engineer: Technical Articles

Did you know ASCE Texas Section’s Editorial Committee regularly procures and publishes technical articles? A recent one we thought you shouldn’t miss is the February 2022 article, “Preparing a Path Forward: Texas' First State Flood Plan is being developed from the bottom up, written by Cindy Engelhardt PE, CFM, M.ASCE and Stephanie Griffin PE, CFM, F.ASCE. 2. 2022 Student Symposium Professional Registration & Sponsorship

Time is running out for sponsorship opportunities and professional registration for the First Ever ASCE Region 6 Student Symposium on March 30 - April 2, 2022. Professionals are invited to join us for two days of continuing education sessions, student competitions, social events and more! This does not include attendance at the banquet unless selected during registration. The deadline for online registration is March 25 and on-site registration will also be available.

3. CECON 2022 Call for Speakers

At this year’s CECON, we are looking for speakers and topics to showcase what it means to be a Civil Engineer within our engineering community. We are more than just our individual fields of expertise. As a unified community, we are strongest. Are you or do you know a dynamic speaker who would like to present at CECON 2022 on one of the following topics? Please visit our speaker submittal webpage. All speakers & topics must be submitted through the online form and those selected, will be given 45 min to 1 hour to present including Q&A. 4. 2022 Camping Trip Registration Reminder

The Texas Section invites you to join us at McKinney Falls State Park from April 29 to May 1 for the 2022 Camping Trip. The trip will be planned and hosted by the ASCE Texas Section Younger Members Committee. Members will meet at McKinney Falls to camp, hike, network, share stories, and learn about what other young professionals are doing across the state of Texas.
