FUTURE CITIES COMPETITION 2021!

Last month has been a fun and wild ride to the moon! ASCE Dallas Branch went  completely virtual to judge Future Cities 2021 Competition giving a very special award – Infrastructure Resiliency. The key criteria of the competition was to build a city on the moon!  They had to utilize two of the  Moon’s resources and think of creative ways to help integrate human life on a social, economic, and environmental standpoints. Questions were asked about how well the city’s infrastructure could handle natural disasters, gravity difference, temperature regulation, food resources, economic activity, and many more. Many schools competed and only one could prevail as our award leader for 2021!

The Infrastructure Resiliency 2021 Award was granted to ……… LOKAMORK from WILLIS POINT JUNIOR HIGH!
