President's Message - June 2020

Dear Dallas Branch Members:

I hope you and your family had a great and restful Memorial Day.  Thank you to the members of the Branch for faithfully joining the virtual meetings that we have been hosting.  Joining the virtual meeting, as well as getting your PDH certificate, will be the same as the last few months.  This month the meeting will be online and free.  The link will be sent out beforehand and will go live on Monday, June 8^th at noon.  At the upcoming meeting we’ll have Frank Pugsley, P.E., Water Utilities Director at the City of Denton.  He will be presenting on Lift Station Emergency Response planning.  We will have one of our technical presentations this month by the Construction Institute, so look for the announcement of it.

Next month we will be having a virtual joint meeting with Fort Worth, on July 17^th.  We are planning on having morning sessions, the lunchtime presentation, and then followed by ethics.  As we finalize the times and presenters, we will send those out.  We will continue monitoring local protocol to determine if we will have an online or in-person presentation in August, and we will communicate that when we have decided. 

I look forward to the June meeting, and hope to see everyone soon!
