President's Message - April 2020

Dear Dallas Branch Members:

I hope you are doing well in this odd and unparalleled time.  I know many of us are working from home, which is an adjustment.  I will miss seeing each of you at the meeting this month.  That is always a highlight getting to see fellow ASCE members at the meeting.  We are doing what we can to continue allowing programing and other ASCE activities within the branch, just in a virtual way.  Thanks to all of those who have helped make this virtual meeting happen.  This could not have occurred without all of the board and committee chairs taking on their normal task, as well as new ones.  Thanks to Jonathan Brower, Nancy Cline, Phillip Alcorn, and Chad Ostrander for their help with the coordination, video, and streaming of the virtual meeting. 

For the upcoming April 13th meeting we’ll have Gary Thomas from DART to speak on the Silver Line and D2 Line.  We will not have any technical presentations this month. 

We will more than likely be having another virtual meeting next month, but watch your email for information.

I look forward to the April meeting, and hope to see everyone soon!
