2019 Christmas is For Caring Wrap Up

The members of the Dallas Branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers donated $4,336 toward the 41st Annual “Christmas Is For Caring Campaign”.  This is our largest donation. A SPECIAL THANKS to REED ENGINEERING for a $2,000 and HENLEY-JOHNSTON & ASSOCIATES, INC. for a $1000 donation. To date our members have given $25,882 to the Denton State Supported Living Center (formally known as the Denton State School) since we started in 2003.  On Tuesday, December 10th, Quinn called into the WBAP station and notified the Living Center of the donation from the members of the “The Dallas Branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers”.  They thanked our organization on the AIR for participating again this year. The money was pledged toward the purchase of money purses, wallets, CDs (Country, Rock and Roll, Latino songs), body pillows, digital watches, night gowns & pajamas, backpacks, adult coloring books, warm socks and gloves, Texas Rangers ball caps, Dallas Cowboy’s shirts, axes body wash, hair dryers, manicure sets, puzzles, aftershave, make-up kits, arts & crafts, bedspreads, electric toothbrushes, mirrors, blankets, and electric razors.
