Matt Robinson, PE - Practice Leader Land Development - BGE

Topic:  DFW Home Building Overview and Recent Legislative Effects

Matt Robinson, PE is the Practice Leader for Land Development at BGE.  Matt’s responsibilities include business development, client relations and internal operations of BGE’s Land Development team.  Prior to his career with BGE, Matt was General Manager of DFW for Walton Global Holdings where he led the asset management of land in excess of 20,000 acres.  Previous to Walton, Matt was Vice President of Development for Greater Texas Land Resources, L.P. in Frisco, Texas.  and Vice President of Land Development for Pulte Homes, Inc. in Coppell, Texas.  Prior to Pulte Homes, Inc., Matt began his career and was an Associate at Carter & Burgess where he worked in the Dallas Land Development Group.  Matt attended Texas Tech University, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 96’.  He is the 76^th President of the Dallas Builders Association where he just recently became a Past President and a lifetime Board of Director for the DBA. He’s is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and a Past President and Board of Director for the Prosper Developers Council.

Matt has been married to his wife Melody for over 23 years.  Melody is a Dyslexia Therapist working at Anna ISD.  They have three (3) children, a daughter Madeline (16 years) and identical twins Shane & Reid (15 years).  They live in Allen, Texas and their kids attend school at Lovejoy ISD.
