Technical Speaker: Dave Davis, P.E.

Topic: Dallas Over One Engineer’s Lifetime

The Dallas area has experienced significant change over the last 60 years, which just happens to be the age of Dave Davis. The changes have not been limited to the growth in the miles of streets, highways, and utilities.  Dave Davis will give his in-depth and entertaining insight into many of the obvious and not so obvious changes that have been influenced by the civil engineering profession.

Dave graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso in civil engineering.  He has worked for the Federal Highway Administration, the Texas Engineering Extension Service, Dallas County, and the City of Farmers Branch as a traffic and transportation engineer.  He presently has his own consulting firm and teaches a couple of senior level civil engineering courses at the University of Texas at Arlington.
